The Illinois Crime Prevention Association is made up of dedicated Crime Prevention Officers and Practictioners located throughout the State of Illinois. Our main purpose is to contribute to the reduction and control of criminal victimization in the State of Illinois by providing crime prevention education and supporting crime prevention programs and activities. We focus our attention on local, regional, and state issues relating to crime prevention and in turn inform our elected officials, legislative bodies and criminal justice personnel of current crime prevention trends and techniques necessary for reducing crime.
